WEST OSTEOPATHY We're looking for an Osteopath to join our team Hoppers Crossing VIC │ Independent Contractor │ 2 days/week incl. West Osteopathy was founded in 2021 with one clear belief: treating a symptom without considering the systems behind it doesn't actually fix anything. We pay close attention to how pain pathways and the nervous system interact, and that understanding shapes everything we do, from how we treat patients to how we support each other as a team. WHO WE ARE We're a small, close-knit team of osteopaths based in Melbourne's west, with a collective focus on complex and persistent presentations, rehabilitation, and helping patients genuinely understand and change how their body responds to pain. We care about lasting outcomes, not just getting patients out of pain, but keeping them there. We talk about our patients. We share what's working. Oh … and Murphy (our Toy Cavoodle and Chief Happiness Officer) works full-time. He takes his role very seriously. THE ROLE It’s a contractor role, consulting patients two days a week including alternating Saturdays. You'll have the space to develop your own clinical style and patient base within a supportive team environment. – Osteopathic assessment, diagnosis and hands-on treatment – Collaborative case discussion with the team, where we learn from each other – Focus on exercise rehabilitation is favourable – Dry needling and/or cupping as part of tailored treatment plans – Build genuine long-term relationships with your patients – Contribute to a team culture built on care, curiosity and quality WHAT YOU'LL NEED – Degree in Osteopathy and current AHPRA registration – ABN, professional indemnity and public liability insurance – Availability on alternate Saturdays and one weekday – Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient outcomes – Bonus: experience in dry needling or cupping, exercise rehabilitation We welcome new graduates with the right attitude.
