Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic patient care, utilizing their expertise in manual therapy and medical knowledge to improve patient well-being. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing case files, and delivering personalized treatment plans. Fluency in multiple languages, including French, and experience in hospital or pediatric settings are highly desirable. The Osteopath will play a vital role in promoting health and recovery through effective communication, precise assessment, and tailored therapeutic interventions. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using medical terminology and clinical analysis skills Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on musculoskeletal issues, pediatrics, or acute care cases Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve mobility Maintain accurate case management records and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Word processing tools Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure clarity of treatment goals and progress Assist in patient education regarding health maintenance, injury prevention, and recovery strategies Manage time efficiently to handle multiple cases while adhering to organizational protocols Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans Keep up-to-date with medical terminology developments and best practices in osteopathic medicine Requirements Valid certification or license as an Osteopath with relevant clinical experience Proven experience in hospital settings or pediatrics is preferred Multilingual abilities, especially fluency in French; bilingual skills are a plus Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management software Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing procedures, mechanical knowledge related to healthcare equipment, and analysis skills for diagnosis Experience with acute care cases and pediatric treatments is advantageous Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Demonstrated time management skills to ensure timely patient care delivery This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to improving patient outcomes through expert osteopathic care.
