OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Out of Hours Osteopath to provide specialised musculoskeletal care during evening and weekend hours. This role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality osteopathic treatment outside standard working hours, catering to patients' needs when traditional clinics are closed. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and demonstrate excellent patient communication skills. This position is paid and suitable for practitioners looking to expand their clinical experience in a flexible, patient-centred environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with musculoskeletal complaints during out-of-hours periods. Develop personalised treatment plans based on thorough clinical evaluations. Perform osteopathic techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote overall wellbeing. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional standards and data protection regulations. Provide clear advice on self-management strategies and injury prevention to optimise patient outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure holistic patient care. Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures, during all clinical interactions. Requirements recognised qualification in Osteopathy from an accredited institution. Proven experience or specialised training in musculoskeletal therapy is preferred. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to reassure and inform patients effectively. Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or other out-of-hours periods as required. Registration with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) or relevant regulatory body. Commitment to maintaining professional development and adhering to ethical standards.
