Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will provide holistic patient care, utilizing their expertise in manual therapy and clinical knowledge to improve patient well-being. This role involves working independently with an opportunity to collaborate and grow alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans. Administrative and marketing support is provided. The clinic is well established business and provides an opportunity to build on a loyal, consistent client base. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment needs using medical terminology and analysis skills Develop and implement personalized osteopathic treatment plans focusing on patient care Utilize mechanical knowledge and skills to perform manual therapy techniques effectively Maintain accurate case management records and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Word processing tools Communicate clearly with patients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and organizational skills Stay updated on medical advancements related to osteopathy, pediatrics, and acute care practices Requirements Knowledge of clinical terminology, mechanical knowledge, and patient care is essential Candidates must provide proof of training at an established Osteopathic College (i.e. four years direct instruction with Osteopathic Institution) Candidates must be registered or be qualified to register with Canadian Federation of Osteopaths. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients of all ages Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently Prior experience is preferred.
