Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Osteopath role located in Port Douglas, QLD. Graduate positions encouraged as weekly mentoring is available as well as accommodation support and sponsorship for the right ca ndidate. The Osteopath will assess clients through detailed history taking and physical examination, develop individualised treatment plans, and deliver hands-on osteopathic treatment. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing osteopathic manipulative techniques, advising on exercise and rehabilitation programs, and educating clients about self-management and lifestyle strategies. The role involves documenting clinical findings and treatment notes accurately, coordinating care with other health professionals when appropriate, and maintaining high standards of safety and infection control. The Osteopath will also contribute to building and maintaining a positive clinic reputation through professional conduct, client follow-up, and participation in practice development activities. Qualifications Strong clinical capabilities in Osteopathy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, with a client-centered approach to hands-on care. Knowledge and experience in Physical Therapy principles relevant to musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and management. Skills in structural treatment and rehabilitation, including developing and monitoring individualised exercise and recovery programs. Recognized qualification in Osteopathy and current professional registration or eligibility for registration with relevant regulatory bodies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse client groups. Ability to work independently, manage a clinical caseload, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and evidence-informed care. Current professional indemnity insurance and appropriate clearances as required by local regulations.
