Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic musculoskeletal treatment to patients, promoting recovery, and improving overall well-being. The Osteopath will utilise their expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, ensuring personalised treatment plans for each individual. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations Develop customised treatment programmes based on individual patient needs Use manual therapy techniques such as mobilisation, manipulation, and soft tissue work to alleviate pain and improve mobility Educate patients on posture, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care outcomes Stay informed about the latest developments in osteopathic practices and integrate new techniques as appropriate Requirements recognised qualification in Osteopathy from an accredited institution Proven knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Registration with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) or relevant professional body Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patients Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in patient wellbeing Prior experience in a clinical setting is desirable but not essential; training opportunities are available for recent graduates This position offers a rewarding career path within a professional environment committed to high standards of patient care.
