Dual licensed Osteopath / Registered Massage Therapist

Massage Addict Calgary Harvest Hills is looking to immediately hire a part-time or full-time Dual-Licensed Osteopath / Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) . The practitioner provides comprehensive, patient-centered manual therapy. This role utilizes an advanced understanding of biomechanics, anatomy, and craniosacral or visceral systems. The primary goal is to relieve pain, improve mobility, and optimize overall physical function. Dual licensing allows the practitioner to seamlessly switch or blend treatment styles based on individual patient pathology Core ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment & Treatment Conduct assessments: Perform detailed orthopedic, neurological, osteopathic structural, and postural evaluations. Formulate plans: Develop individual treatment strategies combining RMT and osteopathic philosophies. Apply modalities: Utilize myofascial release, muscle energy techniques (MET), craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and joint mobilization. Provide education: Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises, postural corrections, and ergonomic modifications. Position RequirementsEducation & Credentials Massage therapy: Diploma from an accredited, recognized college of massage therapy. Osteopathy path: Diploma or degree in Osteopathic Manual Practice (DOMP) or equivalent. Active registration: Current good standing with the local RMT college and preferred local Osteopathic association. Insurance coverage: Active professional liability insurance valid for both practice domains.
